The
Teal Flute Studio Mascots
Ming's
(and Sam's and Penny's)
Page
Hi
there!
I'm Ming-Tai "Trouble"
Teal, the Flute Studio's mascot. I'm a blue tortie-point Siamese
cat and I hang around the flute studio because I've been a "classical
cat"
since
I was a tiny kitten. I love to visit all of my flute-playing
friends
and provide lots of encouragement to them. I also like to roll on
their canvas case covers and leave them hairy souvenirs! Ha
ha!
"Mom" also has a two-foot tall wooden flutist figurine and a straw
scarecrow
flutist figurine that I like chewing on, too. I wonder if that's
why she always says "here comes trouble" every time I visit the
studio? I really enjoy hearing the flute. So does a little bird I know,
who
likes to sit on the fence outside the window when lessons are going
on. In addition to the flute, I also like bird watching and chipmunk
watching,
but not squirrel watching. They complain all the time when I'm
around,
making loud, screeching sounds. What I like to watch most of all
are bunnies. They look like long-eared, short-tailed cats!
They are so funny looking that I always run and tell "Mom" all about
them
every time I see them. My favorite foods are dry cat food and
canned
pineapple. [Don't tell anyone, but I absolutely detest fish... and I
won't
touch that stinky stuff in the cans, either!!!] My favorite
pieces
of music are Chats by Berthomieu, Three Little
Kittens
by Maganini, Three Blind Mice, The Pink Panther
Suite
by Mancini, and of course the song, Wild Thing.
Mom adopted
a poor, pathetic, starved little kitten in 2004. We named him Sam. He's
a very
cute marmalade cat but can be quite a pest at times. All he wants to do
is play,
play, play. We call him the "monster kitten." On July 4, 2006 Sam's
little half-sister showed up on our doorstep
-- yet another starving kitten -- so Mom adopted her, too. Fortunately, the lady down the street
who was allowing her cat to continually have kittens, has moved away!
Our new little sister is named Penny and she is such a "Lucky Penny,"
too! She's also a "monster kitten in training."
Below
are some pictures from my photo album, including new ones of Sam,
Penny, and
me, plus our "cousins" and friends.
